Flmbx
I have some parked domains for multistore as it is pointed as the way to go in several multistore tutorials Now I would like to give the derived stores (parked domains) their proper email address for contact form. From my hosting company I receive messages it is not straightforward to setup email accounts on the parked domains. What is the siolution? Handle them as "main" domains? Will multistore then still work as before??
vekia
if each shop that you use will use your domain as a shop domain - everything will work well. or... perhaps i missed something important in your question
Flmbx
I don't understand what you mean. Can you explain?
El Patron
you can probably just add the mail boxes for other domains from your cpanel (whm).
Flmbx
no in Control panel I just have access to the main domain and the parked domains are not meant to have email addresses configured. It's directadmin. I looked on directadmin forum and indeed it is not straightforward to add email addresses to pointed (parked) domains. How do the other (multistore) users tackle this problem? Or am I searching it too complex and handles Multistore all of this (I doubt)? Edited May 5, 2014 by Flmbx (see edit history)
El Patron
this is from bluehost, but probably works for most cpanels https://my.bluehost.com/cgi/help/
