AlmeraGTI Posted May 4, 2014 Share Posted May 4, 2014 Just found out that I have the Keywords Field missing in Back office when I create a product under SEO, this has only happened after upgrading to 1.6.0.6On the old products that where originally on the site it does show the keywords when I go Show Source on the browser, but when you enter that product in the back office no keyword field is showing so I can´t amend.Could someone look to see if they have the same bug please so I can report it ?? Whispar1 Posted May 4, 2014 Share Posted May 4, 2014 I don't know if this is something specific to 1.6, but keywords as a useful tool are no more. Modern day SEO practices will NOT use the meta keywords field and therefore has zero influence on rankings. vekia Posted May 4, 2014 Share Posted May 4, 2014 yess, keywords aren't used by search engines anymore, so prestashop removed this filed too. it's not worth to collect additional data in database, especially when these datas aren't useful.
