Help! Problem with Product CSV import - All Products Assigning to Home Category

For the last week i have been searching forums trying to find a solution to the product import on our website. 

 

i have copied exactly how the sample product import has been laid out and this puts all products into home category.

 

In the category field we have the category ID separated by , for example 100,143,443

 

The product will then display in the top level category of 100 and in the 2 sub categories 143 and 443. But when this is run it just puts the product only in the home category.

 

I have tried using the title of the category, only the final sub category text and ID but all repeats the same issue.

 

I have tried to use the AdminImportController Fix and this doesnt work either. 

 

Anyone have any ideas??

Hello Ryan.

 

CSV product import with assignment to multiple categories was working somewhat OK in PS 1.5.3.1 (at least when first creating a product, when updating an existing product there was an annoying bug).

 

What is your PrestaShop version?
