Doesn't the mail show correctly when you receive it? In my case the problem was outdated templates in the languagepack i downloaded. I got a mail that just contained a bulk for tekst/code, with ALOT of \n\r ... when I checked the e-mail templates I quickly saw that my custom language in /mails/no/ was very different from the ones in /mails/en/ that came with my package.I deleted the /mails/no/ and replaced it with /mails/en/ ... works like a charm now Hope this helps!
