berijan
I'm a newbie on PS and I'm wondering why my product categories are not listed in the footer. I can see my categories in the left column but in the footer only the heading "Categories" are displayed, see attached image. I'm using PS 1.6.0.6 and the default theme
tdr170
Try uninstalling and reinstalling the categories module, you will then need to go to modules, positions scroll down to left column and move to desired location.
berijan
I didn't help, i uninstalled categories, checked that the block disappeared from left column and footer. Reinstalled the category block and put it in displayFooter and displayLeftColumn with the same result. Categories displayed in left column but not in footer where only the "Categories" header is displayed. Earlier I tested with a free 1.6 theme but I switch back to the default, can the other theme messed up any file for the footer and which file might it then be? vekia
there is some possibility that your shop displays "cached" files (due to the fact that module uses caching system) so it's worth to recompile entrie theme and also clear shop cache

berijan
I'm not sure what You mean by "Aslo check the module and see that Footer columns is set to 1" but isn't strange that the heading "Categories" (or in Swedish Kategorier) shows as the first column in the footer but then the actual categories are not listed. tdr170
Go to modules and click configure on the categories module and you will see footer columns should be set to 1.
