Module with effects on other Modules … need know how.

I need some background knowledge about Module creation.

 

What if I have to made some changes in prestashop, that take effects on some other Modules?

I know that prestashop use "overwriting" and I still work with it, but allways inside of one Module.

 

But if I try to make changes which takes effect on different Modules, how can I put this in one own module?

 

For Example:

I try to add a "request for Price" functionality, if the Price is 0.

This means, the Price should be hide, but the "put to Cart" Button still appear.

So you can do your shopping-tour.

On checkout, can send a "Request for Price" for each Product you put into the Cart.

 

For this functionality I have to adjust different Modules - all Modules which show prices, the Cart and the checkout.

 

How can i put all this changes into one Module. And what have I to looking for, so that other Modules not overwriting my module.

 

Would be glad to got some simple and clear explaination.
