Sell to other country without taxes

Hi everybody,

with our shop, we are starting to sell our product to the other country. In this situation we need to exclude only for foreign customers application of VAT.

I've searched a lot in the BO, but seems that nothing allow to this option.

I don't want to create other customer group becouse of many reasons, so, what I can do?

try this experiment:

 

back office-->preferences-->geo localization

 

enable geo localization

 

now you need to simulate a visitor from the target country.  This will set the visitors country in the cookie, if no taxes defined the hope is that there will be no taxes applied.

So, I have to exclude the application of my default tax rate for the other countries. 

And, another question: how can I enable this option only for the people that give us his VIES code? (may be this can be difficult...)

Use the "European VAT number" module and set appropriately your home country, at least two zones (EU and Outside EU) and their taxes.
