Modifying module to fit onto homepage

Hello everyone.

 

I am currently working on a website, where I need to put in a slideshow on the homepage.

Here is my problem:

 

I bought this module:

http://addons.prestashop.com/en/advertising-marketing-newsletter-modules/6731-nemo-s-prestashop-slider.html

I know there is a standard slideshow built into Prestashop, but I dont want to use it.

 

As far as I can understand, that module is only compatible with 2 hooks:

 

Top of pages

Header

 

Whenever I hook it onto "Top of pages", it shows itself on all pages on the site. (Hence the name)

When I hook it onto "Header", it doesn't show up anywhere on my site.

 

As I need to put it onto the Homepage hook, I need to modify the php code for the module. Problem is, I have NO idea how.

 

Your help is very much appreciated, so thank you so much in advance.
