1.5.6.2 Product Comments Modul Disaster

Dear,

 

upgrading to prestashop 1.5.6.2 on two different shops made problems adding comments to products.

it opens a clean or no window with or without product details... thats depend on what show i try to add comments to product..

 

what helps is unistall module and reinstall it, but that will delet all product comments ever made.

 

thats an disaster because comments and feedback are very importand on products.

You can 2 it two ways:

 

1- export tables, uninstall, reinstall, import table data back

2- disable table install/removal  in the productcomments.php  file. This way, however, any additional table/column will be missing, and you'll have to add it manually

Dear, thanks for your reply, im stil talking about an update with a very BIG bug !
comments are importand, i Understande the way how to go around it, stil a long way and need CLUE and HOW To, to get it work.

 

i just hope some more users will see this and developer will fix it very soon.

most people dont have ide how to get it fixed.
