Checkout Issues

Hi,

 

I am running PS 1.5.6.0 on shared Linux server (1and1.com). The url for my shop is: http://ncfoodcentral.com/wp/kkbp/. I am running the default theme.

 

Anyway, initially, I had friendly urls enabled but I noticed that I kept getting redirect errors on some of the pages. I did some research and altered the configuration in the back office which resolved most of the problems. Ultimately, my primary concern is for my shop to be functional therefore, I disabled friendly urls and this resolved all the redirect issues save one: when I add a product to the cart and click the "Checkout" button, it generates a redirect error. Ironically, if I am not logged in, order checkout works seamlessly. However, if an account is logged in and the same "Checkout" button is clicked, it generates the "redirect loop" error.The url in question is http://ncfoodcentral.com/wp/kkbp/index.php?controller=order-opc. FYI, I am running the "One page checkout" scheme.

 

Please what could be the problem and how can it be resolved?

1.5.6.0 had this nasty bug, can you upgrade to 1.5.6.1 at least?

Hi Nemo1,

 

I followed your advice and upgraded to 1.5.6.2 and the problem seems to be resolved. I even re-enabled friendly urls and everything seems to be working fine. I hope it stays fine.
