Top menu: Each category its own color

Hello all

 

I am a new user of presta with a burning question.

 

 

After a lot of "google-ing" i can not find a solution to my problem.

In the top menu i have put the main categories next to each other via the module config.

 

What i want now is to give each category item its own specific background color.

 

The help is appreciated.

it's not possible by default. unfortunately.

in this case it's necessary to modify module core, i mean blocktopmenu.php file

you have to add individual ID number for each <li> element (a part of menu)

 

there is no other way, unfortunately.
