ricky11 Posted December 26, 2013 Share Posted December 26, 2013 I have checked BO>Localization>Default Country, but find this really does not do much I am using the current latest version 1.5.6.1 When a user checks out it seems to always default to UNITED STATES, which is the last country i enabled. defuzed Posted February 4, 2014 Share Posted February 4, 2014 Hi, sorry late answer, if you mean the country that is preselected in the address form, i wrote a fix for this a while ago. The AddressController overrides the default country when it recognizes a different brwoser language setting. just comment out the appropriate lines in AddressController. intandem Posted August 18, 2015 Share Posted August 18, 2015 (edited) I had the same problem but realise that if you set "Set default country from browser language" to "No", it uses your default country in the address. I'm PS version 1.6.14 however, and it doesn't seem to be a feature of earlier versions.
