Mobile Theme: HomeFeatured?

Hi!

 

First of all, I cant understand how the mobile version of 1.4 is (in my opinion) better and much easily to configure (at least the colors combinations) than 1.5 version

 

Mobile 1.4 also comes with preconfigured homefeatured slide module for the homepage, that is missing in mobile 1.5

 

I tried to adapt "homefeatured-mobile-1.4" and "homefeatured-desktop-1.5" to insert it in index.tpl with no luck (it seems that the mobile homepage doesn't have its category number assigned (default id=2) so array $products does not work.

 

Anyone could give me some light to point the right direction to build the module or insert the homefeatured in the mobile homepage ?

Why don't you use a Responsive version in your template instead of this mobile version ? It's realy better to have a responsive design.

what mobile version you use ? default ? and what standard theme? also default?

Djolhan: The theme is fully customized and it will be a nightmare to modify some responsive theme to transform its design to be 100% the same than the actual.
Conversion rate and other factors are good with this custom template, so when something is not broken, dont fix it...

 

 

Vekia: I'm using a custom theme for the desktop site, and the default theme for the mobile.
