Moving the category block up in line with slider

Please could anyone tell me how to move the category block up in line with the slider as there is a gap where it should go.

 

Tried live edit but every time I moved the block to where I want it it does not stay in that position.

 

Any help would be appreciated if I can do this via the back office.

just wondering where you want to move it exactly.

if so, you have to transplant module first to top hook.

 

then it will be necessary to add some css styles to display slider & categories block inline.

 

moreover it will look ugly, mainly because block categories is much higher than slider.

Thanks for the reply, yes I would like to have the categories in line with the slider. however, if this cannot line up then not a problem.

go to modules > positions

click on green "transplant" button and try to attach block categories module to the "displayTop" hook

Hi, can you explain how you did it ? I put the categories block on displaytop but now it appears on top of the slider
