Added module, but doesn't appear in the list

I added a new module in zip-format, it says it was added and all. But it's not listed. What could be causing that effect?

open module directory and make sure that main module directory isn't a part of subdirectory

I think I will try an re-install that store, it's newly installed and already has issues. Or perhaps the module is too old? I never encountered that a module doesn't get added so I can get to install it, when it says it has been added (The module was downloaded successfully.).

I checked the module directory (the main one), still don't see it. I will try a re-install when I have time over, and will get back about if the module works then or not (and also about the other issue with the site that I posted in another entry).
