URGENT... Cart keeps on emptying. :(

Could somebody in the know please take a look at this asap

 

Customers can add stuff to their cart, yet when going to the cart/checkout, it is empty.

I have just tried myself and it is doing the same for me.

I cant figure out why this keeps on happening.

 

Whenever I change anything in the B.O, this problem seems to arise

And it only started since I tried using mutlishop, and disabled it :(

 

There seems to be bits of multishop left enabed, and it is turned off.

oh, and now I just tried again and it worked for me ?

Why does this keep on happening. Its having a very bad impact on our websales :(

 

if it comes and goes...and this could be underlying reason for those tough to find cart loss issues....the hosting?

 

For example if you run shared/vps then the provider may at their leisure enable a process most likely is a caching facility, like varnish just to name one.

 

You may want to consider speaking with your hosting company about your plan and what caching your hosting plan may be using.

This shop is running on a VPS. It doesn't seem to be the host clearing cache etc, as when it happens, its down for a long time.

It seems to happen everytime I change anything to do with performance settings, smarty etc.

 

I have turned off all smarty and it seems to be working (at the moment)

 

When I turn on debug I get this

 

Undefined index: s in /home/nomatchc/public_html/config/smartyfront.config.inc.php on line 44

 

Could that be causing issues ?
