max30 Posted November 30, 2013 Share Posted November 30, 2013 (edited) Hello, Top selling products are no longer visible on the "Best sellers" page after upgrading to 1.5.6.1 from 1.5.6. The products, however, do show up on the top sellers block on the right column. The same topic is discussed in this thread when the problem affected an earlier version of prestashop. http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/284674-solvedtop-sellers-are-not-displaying/ The last post on the thread mentions a fix for 1.5.6. bside2234 Posted December 10, 2013 Share Posted December 10, 2013 I just noticed today that my Best Seller Block isn't changing on the Home Page so I clicked on the link to go to the best sellers page and none of items that show in the Best Sellers Block are even on the Best Sellers page. They are completely different items. Anyone else notice this? I would expect the #1 in the Best Seller Block to be at least on the Best Sellers page. Right? bside2234 Posted December 12, 2013 Share Posted December 12, 2013 Yes. It didn't change anything. I'm not really sure where the problem is. The block doesn't seem to be correct either if you look at the stats. It's closer but not right. I wonder how best sellers are determined? Is it within a time frame? On the best sellers page it just seems to be random products arranged in alphabetical order. Wouldn't it seem logical to have the order of best selling items first? bside2234 Posted December 12, 2013 Share Posted December 12, 2013 Well, I think this made it better but not 100% correct. Seems to have added a page (I went from 3 pages of best sellers to 4) and the best sellers that are in the Block are now added into the best sellers page. I don't think the order of the Block is right though. There is no way one of them is in the top 5 top sellers (I have 5 best sellers shown in my block). Doesn't really matter too much I guess. I think what bugs me the most is that there isn't a way to order the best sellers page so that the best selling items are first. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I think I may have the right products in the Best Sellers page now but I don't think all the products in the block are right.
