How to remove "default sales labels" from featured products block ? (see attachment)

How can I put my own sales labels on this blok ?

if you want to do it only for homefeatured module, just use this:
 

#featured-products_block_center span.new {display:none!important;}

you can also remove span class="new" from .tpl file (homefeatured.tpl)

Thanks for your reply.

 

After I removed span class="new" from .tpl file, something wrong with my PrestaShop.  

 

1. The "NEW" sales label did disappear.  However, it's also converted to Chinese character on the front office (see attachment).  How to remove it ?

 

2. The default language setting on the front office (Chinese Traditional) is disappeared.  

The language of front office has become Chinese Simplified, even though I cleared Shop Cache & reset Localization > Language.  How to fix it ?

you removed whole <span> ? or just its class?
