Paulito
Good morning The "New" is set in, I think, Back office > Preferences > Products Just change how many days a product is considered new Paul
haochen
ok, thanks mate! there is somewhere to modify the time (days) that a product has been added to my DDBB? its because i want to show the "new" on some items only, not on all added items
vekia
you can change product date decrease date in fields: in ps_product_shop table (not ps_product!)
haochen
thanks velkia! there is any other way than modifing it on phpmyadmin online from my Host? like downloading the data base, modify it then reupload this?
vekia
well... it is possible to download database and change it locally, then upload... but to be honest, it's a bit dangerous if i were you will not do that. i will create some queries to update this field, then just run all queries
haochen
ajam, Vekia i dont know what are queries , but i discovered that importing .csv i can add product added time, but i think PS rquest time format as aaaa-mm-dd, if im not wrong of course, i put 2011-11-11 on .csv but MS office auto modify aaaa-mm-dd to aaaa/mm/dd, and i dont know how to prevent that.... vekia
i mean that when you removed products, to upload it once again with new date, they will not be visible in google search results you knwo what i mean?
haochen
i think yes, but i think i wont need more than once to do this, all the product that i dont want the "new" i update the date as 2 years ago, and items that i want to have "new" update them as today uploaded, dunno if i understood , but i think i wont do anything for SEO since i have no idea and dont really need for my bussines
