Shop domain name with www results in Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request

Hello,

 

I have a problem with reagards to redirects in the Front Office. When I type:

www.domain.com it redirects to domain.com. I'm using Prestashop 1.4.9

 

The settings are

Back Office > Preferences > SEO & URLs

Shop domain name:  domain.com

 

But when i change the Shop domain name to:  www.domain.com

I get in Firefox:

"Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete."

 

I would like to use just www.domain.com because of Google-indexation issues.

check your .htaccess  as it sounds like you have a redirect of www to non-www

 

if so remove that
