Customer order mail with pdf (invoice/bill) attachment

So far I have three different payment methods, paypal, cheque and bankwire.

For the last two there gets no pdf added to customer mail which is sent after the order was placed.

So the customer has to login to his account to take a look at the invoice.

 

I would like to send the invoice pdf right with the order mail to the customer.. how can this be achieved?

Btw: it looks like that there is even no invoice created for bankwire/cheque - so even in the user account (history of orders) the customer can't view the invoice.

But this post has a wrong title..so maybe thats the reason why nobody is answering..thanks to an admin who deletes this post.

I think  the solution is  go to: Orders -> Statuses 

 

and select the the status cheque payment and/or awaiting bankwire and check the Allow a customer to download and view PDF versions of their invoice.  and Save.

 

Please try and test to see if it attaches a pdf invoice
