Adding H1 tags to Homepage without using Home text editor?

Hello,

 

My homepage (and other pages as well) needs to have a H1 tag. I didn't find how to create a H1 tag without the home text editor?

 

I'm not a html editor expert, and would like to know how to have a H1 tag to my homepage. How can I do that? Is there a module for that too?

you can insert H1 tag with:

1) simple modification of your theme files (just add somewhere h1 tag with any text you want)

2) just use modules like html block free to insert any code you want

I have downloaded your module, and would like to know what I should do so that H1 tag can appear just below my logo and only in the home page.

1) open module configuration page.

2) from the left hand side select "top" hook.

3) insert there code <h1 style="position:absolute; display:block; left:60px; top:100px;">some text - very important - use your own</h1>

 

you can manipulate left:60px; and top:100px; values to place h1 tags exactly there where you want

for example left:120px; top:200px; - values depends on you and theme that you use.

thezey, sorry for the offtopic but can you share what is wrong with Home Text Editor module and you don't want to use it for this? I'm thinking of activating it exactly for the purpose of having an H1 tag in my shop and I would very much like to know what stopped you from using it as a solution. Thanks!

i suppose that he stopped to use editorial module because it doesn't work well in prestashop 1.5.5 (in .1.5.6 problems are fixed)
