Installing / problem logging in - 404 page not found

I have been having a hell of a time trying to get one simple Prestatheme installed....why does this have to be so *#$%& difficult?

 

I want to install one theme. Velvet Sky. 

I have bluehost. 

First I tried going through the bluehost Cpanel and install Prestashop. Which looked like it worked. Except I couldn't figure out how to install the theme though, even after watching the ***poorly made tutorials. 

 

It looks like the theme uses 1.4.2.5, so does prestashop that I install also have to be 1.4.2.5?

 

 

I figured perhaps it did, so I went ahead and tried installing 1.4.2.5 myself

I then watched hour long tutorial by this guy

and did every little nuance he suggested

 

everything went smooth until I finally try to log in, and when I enter username and password it brings me to:

"404 - Page not found. Sorry the page you are looking for doesn't exist"

 

What the hell is this? Where am I going wrong?

using these poorly made services makes me want to find the creator and rip his **** out and feed it too him. dang
