Category view - display Subcategories or products (register)

Hi,

 

I've got a little problem which could be pretty tricky to solve:

 

By default, when you click on a category, theres a list with all the subcategories and after that list there's the product-list.

 

What I want is that you can click on a tab to choose 'subcategories' or 'products'.

 

Something like that:

When you click on a tab a grid with the products or the subcategories should appear. Of course one of them is default.

 

Does anybody have an idea how to do this? Didn't find anything on google.

sorry but i don't understand well what you exactly expect.

what you mean "register to choose" ?

 

you mean that you want to block possibility to browser subcategories / products for unlogged users?

Hi vekia,

 

I edited the first post.

With 'register' i meant tabs... As you can see them on the screenshot (link).

 

If the user clicks on a category there should be a tab 'subcategories' and a tab 'products'.
