[SOLVED] PSBlog cant stop displaying my contentbox module

Hi All,

 

I had hooked my contentbox to my displayTop and when i use my newly installed presta blog module, i am unable to stop displaying the hook when i visit http://thedesignerportfolio.com/test/index.php?fc=module&module=psblog&controller=posts .

NOTE: The content box contains the LOGIN WITH FACEBOOK PORTION.

have you tried to clear cache in your store? it sounds like issue with cache

i have cleared and forced recompilation. 

 

I believe it might be because there is no exception check. but i have no idea to implement a workaround

so your module is still attached to the hook, but you want to create exception only, right?

Yea, the ContentBox Module is attached to the DiaplyTop hook. 

As the Presta Blog Module ( http://addons.prestashop.com/en/content-management/2500-blog-prestablog-posts-categories-comments-products.html ) is not an option when i am transplating the hook.

 

I think i might need to implement an exception

if i were you will add exception to the .tpl file manually

 

add there something like:

 

{if $smarty.get.module!='psblog'}

CONTENTS OF FILE HERE

{/if}

for others solved by changing contentbox module .tpl file

to

on a side note how can we find out what name the module goes by (for example this blog modules is psblog)? do i use the folder name of the modules

it's related to the folder name usually, but also to the $this->name variable (and also class name) in main module .php file
