Using different dimensions and weights for the same product different stores

So I am using the multi store to be able to manage prices and descriptions plus inventory for products on 2 different stores. One store is for the UK and the other is for the US. My problem is that I need them to have different dimensions as well as weight (kg > lb, cm > in). Is there a way to do this or do I need to completely separate the products? If I need to completely separate the products is there a way to do that without having to recreate the current products.

 

The reason for this need is to have the shipping calculator modules work with the appropriate weights and dimensions.
