Differences between tempaltes

Hello fellows,

 

I want to create my template using/adjusting the template of 1.5.5 version of prestashop.

 

Can I use this template (I mean the adjusted template of 1.5.5) when the next versions of prestashop come or there are differences between templates of each version of prestashop so that I must adjust my template on each prestashop version that comes out ??

each update of the prestashop engine brings new features, sometimes also features for front office. so in some cases it will be necessary to update theme also.

 

for example, prestashop 1.6 will have totally new theme (with responsiveness) and without jquey.ui, so your theme will not work, mainly because of this.
