[solved] View Subcategories as list by default and delete grid options for customers

Hi,

I really would like the category page view to be 'list' instead of 'grid' by default and I also would like to remove the grid view options for my customers.

I'm using PS 1.5.4.1.

Could anyone give me a hand on this issue?

you're talking about "grid" for subcategories, or about "grid" for products? or about both of them?

 

in both cases you will need to modify CSS styles and the product-list.tpl file and category.tpl also. Unfortunately it isn't default theme, it's a commercial solution so i don't know how the .tpl files looks like

I meant the product list view.. I'll post the product-list.tpl file below this message, could you take a look at it? I've been trying a few things yesterday but I don't know much of this stuff so I didn't find the solution yet...
