voucher condition: apply discount only to X category

Hi,

I use PS 1.5.4 and I need to set a "cart rule" with these conditions:

 

availability: from 2013-29-08 to 2013-29-09

minimum quantity: 50€ tax excl. and shipping exl.

total available: 500

total available for each customer: 1

 

And a condition that says: if you purchase a product from category X get a 10% discount on this product, but not on products in other categories.

Can I do this?

it is possible

 

on "conditions" tab select "product selection" then click add a rule concering "Categories" and click ok

 

then click on Choose - and select any category you want

Hi, but in "Prestashop Help" they say:

• Selected product(s). The customer can choose on which products the discount should be applied. Only available for the "Percent (%)" option.

I don't want customer can choose product...

If I only select products in "conditions", the discount is applied on all products in the cart, not only on selected products.

Hi Elena,

 

the "Selected Products" option discounts only the products used to make up that cart rule.

 

So if you say

 

a customer must select 1 product a, and 1 product b to qualify for 10% off.

and the customer also orders product c..

 

The discount will only be applied to product a & b
