Content not showing in categori and productsite

Hi all,

 

I'm very new to this prestashop thingy, I have been wotking with Magento Oscommerce and other webshop systems before.

 

I installed a free theme from groundsite, and now I have this strange problem.

 

The content on the product site and in the categories are not showing.

I know it is a theme problem, because when I change it to the default theme, everything is there.

 

I hope you can help

turn on error reporting, it looks like you've got some php parse script errors (empty page)

Somehow I can't find where to turn error reporting on?

 

I just tried this :

it looks like theme that you use isn't compatibile with your ps version.

generally speaking it looks like theme files are coded WRONG, especially category.tpl file

 

can you show how the contents of this file looks like?

can you try to change this:

make sure that you've got "force compilation" option turned to on under the adv. preferences > performance tab in your back office + turn off cache (also there)

I'm not sure about the "force compilation" ? But cache is now turned off.
