How can I delete all products in certain category and in all its subcategories

How can I delete all products in certain category and in all its subcategories before the CSV Import procedure without deleting any category and its tree.

you can do it in two ways.

1. with sql query (it's not so easy and you have to be familiar with mysql queries)
   
2. you can also remove produts in bulk in back office
   

 

i want to show you second method:

1) select filter by category feature

2) select category, then you will see products attached to this category

3) select number of displayed products (you can select 300 - MAX)

4) click on checkbox to select all of products

 

then scroll page down and you will see delete button, just press it
