Does Prestashop store customer credit card info?

I am setting up my online store and plan to go for EBS payment gateway. I wanted to know, does Prestashop store the customer credit card information in its DB table after being redirected back from payment gateway?
Also does Prestashop enrypt username and password of the customers? I dont want someone from the hosting company where my web site is hosted to steal the user information and misuse it or sell it.

Hi Mbleo,

No presta doesnt store any creditcard information (at least none of the main modules ive seen).

If you use the main paypal modules you will be PCI compliant.

and yes the usernames and passwords are encrypted in the database tables, i also do hosting on an external company so was concerned about the same thing.

The only thing that can be seen on the tables would be the customers address information which you should be covered for in your agreement with your hosting company (check privacy terms).
