Schnitzer
Hi, i've come across a weird issue in 1.5.4.1: I would like to change the standard order of my products in a certain category, but there are no controls for doing that. I've changed preferences / products -> Standard Sorting to position inside category (Ascending) and I'm viewing the catalog in category filter. Instead of looking like this: http://www.prestasho...attach_id=65657 My window looks like this: I'd be glad for any help! PascalVG
Hi Schnitzer, In your catalog->products: Select filter by category (you did this already) Now: Really select a category from the category tree! The page will refresh with products of that category and the positions column will be there again. Hope this helps, pasxal
Schnitzer
Hi Pascal, thanks for your reply! I did as you say, but it still doesn't work. Although I do get a position column, I do not get controls or a drag-and-drop zone :-/ Am I probably missing something? Here's a screenshot for clarification:
stottycabanas
Try removing the zubehor from the filter row - I think it might be interfering.
PascalVG
Schnitzer, Seems to be a problem with some browsers (o.a. Firefox!). Try to use Chrome or Safari for a moment and see if that works. A similar thread about this: http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/267724-manual-product-order-column-shows-numbers-not-arrows/ pascal N.B. I expect it actually to be a add-on problem. Maybe also try Firefox in simple mode (without add-ons loaded) and see if it will work then.)
Schnitzer
Thanks a lot, Pascal! Changing the browser to Chrome did the trick! I checked with Firefox in simple mode with disabled plugins, but the problem persists. If it helps: I was using Firefox 22.0 on Mac OS 10.7.5 (Lion) when the bug appeared. (I tested 23.0.1 too, but the bug is still there)
PascalVG
Hi Schnitzer, Glad it worked for you! :-) Strange problem, would expect more from FireFox... Happy selling, pascal
fab68
Hello everybody, I disappointingly had the same problem with Firefox, version 23.0.1 It does work with Internet Explorer though. Thank you, I love this forum!
