[SOLVED]Product Availability - Displayed text not showing

How do I show Displayed text when in-stock or Displayed text when back-ordering is allowed?

i can only get the product quantity to show if there is stock.

Basically i want the product to show "In Stock" when there is stock or "5-10 days Delivery" when stock is at 0

Please can someone help me.

i am on 1.5.4.1

Hi Sanman,

I hope I understand your question well, but I think you want to have a look at catalog->products. Then edit a product and go to the quantities tab.

There, at the bottom of the page you have a field where you can add text that must be displayed when back ordering is allowed.

Is that what you mean, or am I totally off-track? If so, please elaborate a little.

Thank for you reply Pascal,

I have added the text to quantities tab on the products but it does not display on the product when a customer is viewing it on the front end. Only when a product has 1 or more in the quantity does it show Availability: 1 item in stock

I want the customer to only see

Availability: In Stock (when there is stock)

or

Availability: 5-10 Days Delivery (when there is no stock)

N.B. There are a few more pieces of code out-commented, like colors (when using a color-attribute, and packs (when combining products). Not sure if you (Don't) need them, but be aware... (Please mention this in any follow up topic when looking for "color attribute is not showing" :-) )
