Andrew H Posted August 9, 2013 Share Posted August 9, 2013 I have some text content as part of the theme, immediately below the images, but google is reading this as the first few lines of content of the page (as shown in google) instead of the actual first few lines. The problem is this content isn't page-specific and would mean the description for every product would be the same. Is there some way to get search engines to ignore this content or treat it as if it's at the bottom of the page (without actually moving it to the bottom of the page)? thanks Andrew Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I guess I'll need to move the offending (same on each page) content further down the page. I just did a search on google for my site and the description that appears at the bottom is not what I want. I am not sure how to make this changes.
