Wrong part of page content being indexed on search engine / google

I have some text content as part of the theme, immediately below the images, but google is reading this as the first few lines of content of the page (as shown in google) instead of the actual first few lines.

The problem is this content isn't page-specific and would mean the description for every product would be the same.

Is there some way to get search engines to ignore this content or treat it as if it's at the bottom of the page (without actually moving it to the bottom of the page)?

thanks

Andrew

Thanks -strange that it's not displaying the product description in google. I guess I'll need to move the offending (same on each page) content further down the page. I was thinking there might be some way that it could be disregarded by search engines without detrimental effect to page rank.

hello

i probably know where the problem is,

you should use different html tag for these info which appear in the google serps.

you use there <h3></h3> tags. Use simple <span> tag and i'm convinced that this info will disappear.

but remember, that it takes a few days
