[SOLVED]PS 1.5.4.1 - An error occurred while creating an object. Product

Good day,

 

This the first time I am using PS and I just purchased a template from template monster. Everything went well and I installed the sample data via phpmyadmin but when i try to add or duplicate a product I get a message "An error occurred while creating an object"

 

Can someone please point me in the right direction with this problem

Resolved by doing a fresh install and not using the sample database provided by the template author

Just for completeness sake, could you answer shortly these questions?:

- which template was it?

- what Prestashop version do you use?

- Should the template be compatible with this PS version, according to the vendor?
