[solved] Adding Categories Back in the side bar?

Hello, I have been trying to add a different theme besides the default one. i have tried a few but they all seem to have something wrong with them or in most cases it just may be me,and i don't know how to correct the problem. So i have gone back to the default theme and now i cant get the categories back on the side bar? Also is there a way to save all the settings for a theme, that way i dont have to start over every time i try a new theme out? thank you .

Is the categories module in your Back Office? if so is it enabled

the problem may be related also to the changes in the modules > positions tab. In this case reinstall module mentioned by perfumeskunk.

 

There is no way to "save changes" for each template. You can only export tempalte with its settings
