[solved] Thumbnails aren't displaying after adding a product

Hi All,

 

I am quite new to prestashop though I have been building sites for a few years now. I am converting the Leo Converse Free theme from Leo Themes and I am stumbled into a bit of an issue.

 

When adding new products I am finding that it isn't generating a thumbnail for the product when you click on it.

hello

 

make sure that you've got correct images defined in the preferenes > images

 

i can't add products to the cart in your store (no items in stock) so its hard to say what kind of images you have to use, but it looks like you haven't got for example

 

"medium" type

"small" also

I am going to add some quantities now for you to test.

 

I am afraid I am not 100% on how to add / edit the image list accurately.

create new image type for "products" named "medium"

with size: 82px width 82px height

 

after that regenerate thumbnails for new image type

This has now allowed the images to be seen! thank you so much for that, However do you know if there is a way to remove the white strips from the left and right of the image?

it also depends on image sizes

you have to use pictures in the size defined in the settings I mentioned above, of course you can use bigger pictures but they have to be proportional to the size defined in the settings
