Now I want to "re-install" the default theme to start from "zero" again,just as it comes. Can anyone explain how i "delete" and install it again? (sorry for bad english) Thank you! tdr170 Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 There is one question here the things you do in the BO don't generally have anything to do with the theme itself, so what is it you did that makes you think you need to re-install the theme. Have you deleted modules, do you want to delete all the info you have inserted, not sure how to give you good advice based on the info given. You can upload the modules folders to your install, this will overwrite all files and put any modules you deleted back in the modules section. I'm not sure if i removed some important module but i would like to restore all changes I made (modules and etc...) because I really don't know what I did wrong. Thanks for your kindly help. El Patron Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 sometimes it's just as easy (assuming you haven't put loads of work into loading products), is to delete you install and install a fresh installation. El Patron Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 Hi Daniel, if you are not familiar with this procedure I suggest waiting on your developer to show you. you would need access to your mysql db, via phpmyadmin for example and ftp access to your installed ps files... if you have these then we could proceed using the forum. 1 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
tdr170 Posted July 11, 2013 Share Posted July 11, 2013 If you have access to the ftp files you could just try uploading the modules folder this will re-insert any modules you deleted. If you just unhooked the module try going to modules, front office features, categories block and click on reset. Chances are you do not need to do a complete re-install, that should be a last ditch effort, what will you do in the future after entering 100's of products and an issue arises, best is to figure out what you did so as not to do it again. There are many hosting providers that have this service.
