webbit
I am using PrestaShop 1.4.8.2 My issue is every time a user adds an item to the cart the force compile setting in the back office> preferences> performance changes from "No" to "yes" This slows the site down considerably and the page loading is very slow I have to keep going into the back office several times a day to revert it back to "No" To make the site load quicker Any help on how to keep this setting from changing would be much appreciated Cheers Webbit

tomerg3
Are you using the caching system at the bottom of the Performance tab? If so, turn it off, as it is buggy.

tomerg3
When did this first start happening? Are you using any 3rd party modules?
webbit
It seemed to have started from the beginning but i also did install a third party shipping module called OzPost MultiQuote I have now removed the module and that seemed to do the trick My issue now is when I come to choosing a delivery method I dont have a carrier I am in Australia can you suggest what carrier module I should use that wont give me the same issues has I originally had with the force compile Thank you for your help. It seems on on the right track to fixing this now
tomerg3
I would first try to contact the creator of that module and see if they can help. You can also try 2 of our shipping modules http://www.presto-ch...hipping-modules 1) Australia Post (which gets live rates from their server). 2) Localized Shipping (which lets you assign shipping rates based on country / state / post code)
