How does the authentication.tpl file works

Hello,

I am reading the authentication.tpl file in order to understand how the forms are being ordered. However, I have no experience with forms at all. I see that there are four forms:

• 1>create-account_form: Create an account
  
• 2>login_form: Already registered?
  
• 3>new_account_form: Instant checkout
  
• 4>account-creation_form: Your personal information
  

From what I understand the user have to complete form (1) in order to pass to form (4). I tried replacing form (1) with form (4) but then the "Regsiter" button did not work.

 

How can I remove form (1) and add form (4) to the authentication page?
