[SOLVED] Moving to root folder problem

I wanted to move the shop to the root folder to eliminate redirects & copied everything to the main folder, changed the URLs in the SEO & URLs tab, in the BO. The website looks OK, but the product pages are blank.

Nothing worked so far, I've tried many settings in the BO, no luck.

 

I turned error reporting on, and got this message: Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 39321600) (tried to allocate 1966080 bytes) in

cache/smarty/compile/e0/cf/5a/e0cf5ac488efc0dab833c481d30afc13b4ef3f4a.file.product.tpl.php on line 874

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

it looks like memory issue. Error says, that there is not enough RAM memory.

before you moved your store to the root dir - everything worked well?

Yes, it worked fine (for a few weeks until now).

try to clear cache in your store, just empty directories:

cache/smarty/cache/

cache/smarty/compile/

 

it's really weird that now you've got error related to the RAM

Out of the sudden, after many hours, it started to work by itself!

I didn't even touch it!

The pages are loading very slowly now, but at least it works.

make sure that you've got force compilation OFF.

i think that we can mark this as [solved] - if problem will occur once again - just continue thread here
