Get server to localhost Problems!

Recommended Posts

Hello!

So far i've worked online with FTP with editing my website but its too slow beacuse i must:

dowload file->edit->save->upload->see

Now i want to continue edit my website with localhost then i just do

edit->save->see

My website is'nt showing on localhost like it does on the server AT ALL! It looks like the default prestashop theme with little edit.

Check images below (big)

SERVER.jpgLOCALHOST.jpg

Some can't see spoiler so here is link!

on server: http://s23.postimg.o...kyqz/SERVER.jpg

localhost: http://s10.postimg.o...1/LOCALHOST.jpg

As you guess the top one is my website on the server and second one is how it shows on localhost.

Where are my product and all other settings?!

What i mean is that i worked on server and FTP then i must download the file from FTP->edit it->save->upload back to the server with FTP and then i see on my website.

Now i want to continue work on my website but on localhost so it goes much faster and i dont have to use FTP!

Check the images, they are inside the spoiler!

export prestashop database (you don't have to export other databases) - just open database and click on export, use SQL method

then import it on localhost

Thanks!

I've exported and now when i wanna import the file is too big (8mb) so will check for workarounds, any you can tell me right now and save some time? :)
