Add product, Cart and Checkout redirect loop

Hi,

 

I'm building a custom theme for Prestashop. After turning on URL Rewrites I keep getting redirect loops. This happens when:

• I add a product to the cart
  
• Click the checkout link
  
• Click the view cart link
  

Does anyone know what might be causing this? I'm using Prestashop 1.5.4.

 

Before I turned on URL rewriting these links all worked fine, so I'm guessing it has something to do with that.

Did you try deactivating Apache multiviews under "Preferences" > "SEO & URLs"? this kept happening to me when adding languages until i disabled Apache multiviews

For me, this did the trick:

 

in Advanced parameters->optimization:

- Turn off all ccc optimizations, apache cache, clear smarty cache

- save

check if checkout worked (it did! )

- turn on ccc and apache cache again

- save

- check if it still worked (yes :-)  )
