Countries, states, zones...

I am trying to see if I understand well the zone system.

 

I created several zones, one for each province of Canada, because of course I want different shipping fees for each of them. But it is not working.

 

I spent much time trying to fix the problem and finally I came across a post mentioning that the country and its provinces must be in the same zone for the calculation of fees to work. Is this right? I tested and it seems to be right.

 

The thing is that only one zone can be assigned to a country....

 

So in other words, what I understand is that i cannot set different shipping fees for each province? Am I right? I hope I am wrong!!!!)

 

Please I need help on this after having lost a whole day trying to fix this. I msut find a solution but first, I must know if I can do it or not....

Using the multipage checkout instead of one page did the trick.
