Multishop fail

I'm having some issues with the multi-store. Everything has been set up correctly and I followed the prestashop instructions to the letter.

 

Unfortunately after creating my second shop, my first shop disappered. Blank screen.

 

The second shop comes up with a 403 Forbidden error.

 

The only fix I've found so far is to delete the second shop, then the first one is back to normal.

 

Main store shows up:

Page not found

 

The page you are looking for might have been removed,

had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.

 

Please try the following:

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

- Click the Back button in your browser to try another link.

- Use a search engine like Google to look for information on the Internet.

HTTP 404 - File not found

 

The second site says:

Forbidden

 

You don't have permission to access /evdesign/ on this server.

 

 

My host is providing mod_rewrite... that doesn't seem to be the issue.

 

Any OTHER ideas?
