bullywug
I have some products which are oversized and therefore cost a significant amount more to ship. I would like to use the Additional shipping cost (per quantity) option to pad the shipping cost up to what it actually costs me but as it stands, when I enter a value into the Additional shipping cost (per quantity) field nothing changes on the front office shipping options. Can someone recomend a solution or work around for this problem as I obviously can't keep paying huge amounts extra for customers shipping. Thanks, Charles
bullywug
Additional information: Running Prestashop 1.5.2.0, unable to upgrade at this time due to problems with shared hosting. Working on resolution. Shipping modules used, Canadapost and UPS but this feature has never worked since day one. Any suggestions would be most welcome. buffalonyusa
Had the same problem and the only way I could work around it was to delete all carriers, create my own and then make the "Additional shipping cost (per quantity)" the total shipping amount for each product (I deleted the USPS module). As I only had 63 products on my site at the time, it wasn't too much work to put the dimensions and weight for each product into the online USPS calculator. bullywug
Thank you for the info. I'll keep the information you provided in mind but it's definitely not an optimum solution for us. Thank you again.
Festival Trade
To make this happen you have to create various weights in -> Shipping -> weight range and then go back to Shipping and add the different prices for each weight. http://www.inmotionhosting.com/support/edu/prestashop-15/working-with-shipping/shipping-fees-by-zone-carrier-and-ranges-in-prestashop-
