ariopp
Hi, I would like to put a "mailto:" link on one of my pages, but it always wants to add "http://myshop.com/mailto:..." to the beginning of it. How do I make it that I someone can click on a lin to send an email? Thanks,
Stu583
where are you trying to put the "mailto:"?
ariopp
on the "conditions" page and the "contact-form" page...
Stu583
You want a "mailto:" link instead of the contact form? Conditions page is easy enough. PM me the address you want it to mail to and ill create the .tpl file for you.
mEcommerce
It should be as easy as this; contact-form.tpl contains: <a href="mailto:[email protected]">Email us</a> output here: http://me-commerce.nl/presta/contact-form.php
ariopp
yeh, but that doesn't seem to work on the conditions.tpl file. Any ideas?

ariopp
yeh, seems to be be straightforward. I'm actually putting it the the following way: <p>{l s='[Your conditions] etc etc <a href="mailto:[email protected]">Email</a> more condtions etc......'}</p> Could it be that im putting it with the "l s=" string? Excuse my ignorence, but what does that string do? If that is the problem, can I list the conditions without putting them in the "l s=" string? Thanks! mEcommerce
Hi ariopp, the {l s=' part gets the translation of [Your conditions] that is stored in the database. Unless you want to use that, you can delete that part and just hardcode your conditions in plain html inside conditions.tpl
ariopp
Thank you everyone for your help. I removed the {l s=' string from the conditions.tpl file and just put normal HTML code, and now the "mailto:" links all work fine! Thanks again for all the support!
