[ERROR] version to install is too old (1.5.4.0. to 1.5.4.1)

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade from 1.5.4.0 to 1.5.4.1.

I'm using the one click upgrade module (v 1.0.20)

Copying of new files works but when the module tries to start the database upgrade I have this message:

current version : 1.5.4.0. install version : null

[ERROR] version to install is too old

Any Idea ?

Thank you.

Hi,

I solved my problem, but don't really know how ...

My advice:

try to modify / save your module config

Rollback to your previous version of PS saved

And try again ...

you could also try to upgrade without the PrestaShop Backup (do a backup by yourself)

good luck ! :)

I had the exact same problem updating from 1.5.2 to 1.5.4.1

After the update was done, it failed with a database error and said:

current version : 1.5.2.0. install version : null

[ERROR] version to install is too old

I had to roll back to 1.5.2. Then I did as dric83 said and changed some settings in the 1-Click module. In particular I turned off native support but probably it was just that the settings had to update themselves or something.

After I saved this in the 1-Click module, I could successfully run the 1.5.4.1 update.

hello

I saw this article and I also I have a problem with updating a prestashop version 1.5.4.0 to 1.5.4.1

The need to update is due to translations, they are giving me problems, there are modules that neither have their files

I have made a copy of the website and database, then I have installed the new version of prestashop, this version I have created a database, I entered the phpmyadmin delete the tables and tried to import the database tables data for version 1.5.4.0, I get error.

Should I install everything new in version 1.5.4.0 and use the one click upgrade module or try manually? if I were to do it manually as it should?

I would appreciate an answer or professional help since the web was finished just missing some translations and we put it online on 01/08/2013

thanks

, I get error.

what kind of error you've got?

moreover, it's not the best way to update the store. Why not with auto upgrade? It's the best method in my opinion (you will not loose the pictures, products etc.)
