abandoned carts from unregistered users

Hi all

 

Just wondered if anyone had any advice regarding abandoned carts? I know there's a plugin which will alert us and email the user but only if they've registered. Ideally i'd like to force some basic registration on site so at least we can communicate with guests who add to basket but don't checkout.

Any ideas?
